Weapon Classes.

There is 3 different weapon classes each one is a different thing.
Class A: This is your main weapon not really the most used but the main one. (I say not the most used because you may or may not use long range weapons and then each time you use a projectile you use it) A person is allowed one class A weapon and unless you dual weild weapons.
Class B: These are you side weapons each character is allowed 3 of these weapons.
Class C: This is usually used to fix one of your other weapons or is a last resort weapon.
